Occasionally throughout the season, in addition to previewing a race, we will be making a points selection. All selections will be based on the industry starting price of the horse to avoid confusion, despite bigger prices being available on most occasions.
Although usually a minefield, we will spend 4 points on both the Cheltenham and Aintree Foxhunters. Selected firms pay the first four places for each way (1/4 odds a place) and as our bets are all based on the starting price, they will be made with them. For all other races, each way bets will be treated as first three places (1/5 odds a place).
This section is purely for fun – we hold no responsibility for those who follow our tips! Below is a table with a running total of our points profit/loss.
