Stratford’s Friday night fixture turned out to be an epic curtain-closer to the 2013 Hunter Chasing season with four top-notch races, champions crowned, and others sunk.
The John Corbet Cup provided us with everything this year, with thrills, drama and a classy winner.

Harbour Court (11/8f) never looked to be travelling throughout the race and didn’t appear to like Stratford too much. The seven-year-old, who has won six of his seven career starts was given a marvellous ride by James Tudor who didn’t panic when the race began to unfold ahead of him out on the final circuit.
